iTunesday | Jack Johnson is a Hot Monkey
Wow. It's 6AM and I'm awake. Time to hit the gym. It's been a week since I've been back at it, and I've managed to go five of the past seven days. I've also started doing some freeweights and lots of stretching at home. My muscles are sore and I'm sitting here in the pre-dawn darkness, more than a little sleepy. But I feel great.
Anyway... I'm obsessed with Jack Johnson's new single, "Upside Down" from the upcoming Curious George movie. Though the movie looks a bit the 80s Chipmunk Movie, and it features the voice of Will Ferrell as The Man in the Yellow Hat (and,post-Bewitched, is that even a plus?), I'm not super-excited for it, despite being a CG fan. But the entire soundtrack was done by the monkey-like Jack, so I'm psyched for it's release. You can download the single now.
My first glimpse at today's iTunes offerings allows me to point out the following downloads:
- A free track from The Magic Numbers -- Love Me Like You (One of stereojoe's top songs of '05 -- Number Three, in fact.).
- The Very Best of Lisa Loeb. I've loved he music for years, and now I love her cheesy reality show on E!, "Number One Single." I'll give you babies, Lisa!
- Coldplay: Live from Austin City Limits
- The iTunes premiere of this week's Drawn Together, "Captain Girl." The episode was originally supposed to be free, but now it's the regular $1.99 -- but you still get it over 24 hours in advance!
Alright. Time to hit the gym.

Wow, it didn't take you long to be obsessesd with the new song - I'd like to think I nudged you over the line a lil bit!
