Thought it's unseasonably warm -- yesterday and today have been hovering around 50 degrees, quite odd for January in Vermont, especially when Monday had temps near zero -- it's gloomy out. And gloomy, no matter how warm, lends itself to laziness and melancholy. It's 1:30 in the afternoon now and I haven't done shit today, save for play with my computer, download some tunes, write a bit, and eventually shower. Now I sit on my bed, laptop on lap, and contemplate the rest of the day. Moments ago, I was gung-ho for a trip to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to buy a new comforter and some lunch, but now I'm content to just sit here, tummy grumbling, and look out at the skeletal trees and grey sky outside. I have not left my bedroom for about 12 hours. Hmm, I have some peanut butter Hershey Kisses here... Maybe I won't leave for another twenty-four.
