More TV at iTunes

Apple has finally updated their new-ish Video Store with more TV shows. A new deal with NBC brings a bit more content to the store, branching out from just episodes of Lost and Desperate. (Still, where's Grey's Anatomy?)

NBC shows include Law & Order, The Office, Surface, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. "Vintage NBC" shows offered are Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dragnet, Adam-12, and Knight Rider. The Sci Fi channel offers Battlestar Galactica, while USA offers Monk. Like the ABC TV shows, the NBC offerings cost $1.99 each.
While the selection isn't grand yet, Conan and Galactica are a bit less yawn-worthy than Night Stalker or that Suite Life thing (though I thought the inclusion of That's So Raven last round was inspired). As the proud owner of a new iPod with video, I'm excited for the new content and most likely to download old Hitchcock or Triumpth, if anything.

Is this another step closer to the rumored Mac media hub?
