Everyone is boring and everyone is bored

Duncan Sheik has a beard!

(He also has a new album, White Limousine, coming out in January.)

Now I love me some bearded men, but DS is not one of them. He just looks too -- terrorist-y with it.

And -- shock, horror -- I'm also not totally sold on the first new single, either. I want another Daylight, not another Phantom Moon.

What are your thoughts on the new DS, Nick?

I agree with you...his beard is more "inconsistent and spotty" than "woofy."

I used to think he was so cute! But that beard is a no no on him. To bushy and stuff, I like a nice short trimmed and sculpted beard on a man.

he looks like my dad.

No way, he looks like he's been in a cabin in the woods and has just come back to deliver his latest creation but hasn't had time to clean himself up. Aw yea I like em rough around the edges. PS. I like the new look.

I'm a huge fan of DS no matter what facial hair he's got going on. And I like the new song.

I can't lie.Whatever it is, if it's Duncan, I'll sleep with it.Er ... buy it.As a rule (my boyfriend and Crash excepted, of course), I'm not a fan of facial hair. I thought perhaps Dunc would be another exception, but no. Maybe he trying for a "serious" early-middle-age professor look with this or something. Hopefully it won't last long. I miss the 26 year-old Barely Breathing hottie I fell in love with ten years ago. (Seriously - ten years. Can you believe that?!)As for the new song ... I'm bad; I haven't heard it. It's been too busy to blog, let alone find songs. Full report as soon as I do, however ... I'm eager and curious, especially now that you've weighed in.
