April Showers

I woke this morning to darkness, thinking it was 4AM on Sunday. Turns out it was 11AM on Monday and I was late for work. But, damn, did I sleep! Having not slept well since Easter, it was nice to finally get a quality night's rest filled with R.E.M. I dreamt, and though the dreams were filled with my father, the Pope, and/or Beth from MTV's newest Real World Inferno, it's still a good sign. I haven't had many dreams in the past week. I'm tired today, but I actually feel rested.
After a hasty shower, I decided, officially, that the haircut I got on Friday is too short, listened to "Material Girl" by Madonna as it came on iTunes shuffle, and headed out the door.
On the rainy walk to work, I passed a cracked copy of Jewel's "Pieces of You" lying in a puddle in the road and I thought, "Yep. That's about right."
May flowers cannot get here soon enough.

Well, I live in the Berkshire mountains of Massachusetts and between the melting snow, the rain we received all weekend, and the dusting of snow we got this morning, I for one can't wait for May Flowers. Enough of the April Showers. And Inferno II rocks. I love it when clothing gets dumped in a pool.
I was writing up a dream in my dream journal yesterday and noticed that I only have record of dreams April through September. Must be a daylight thing - I think I should move south...
Just when you thought Jewel had come so far from living in a van, there she is, back in the gutter.
