Good Times at Bad Target

A couple of things are cheering up this Debbie Downer today. And they include:

  • I won Richard's Name-The-Diva contest over at Proceed At Your Own Risk this morning! And I am particularly pleased by the fact that I knew 23 of the names before realizing that the answers were "hidden" in the names of the pictures. I got $50 to the iTunes Music Store! I love rich dirty old men!
  • Thanks to Yelli, I've discovered a new name for my fantasy band. Move over "Satantic Myans of Rhode Island"—here comes "Good Times at Bad Target"! Rawk! (If only I had musical talent...)

  • Speaking of band names, Oliver at Thought Not posts his new "Bear of the Week"—and its an uber-hot "cub" named Will that he's in a nameless band with. Drool! I'm in looooove.

  • Thanks to all the kind comments and emails I've gotten from readers in response to yesterday's depressing post. Cyber support rocks! And, rest assured, I am in therapy. No one sends themselves anonymous blackmail letters without eventually landing themselves there. I am sane, though! Really!

  • I am seeing Archbishop Desmond Tutu speak in one hour.

So, even though it's gloomy out, life is still pretty good. And there's always Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" to make me feel better...

Speaking of dirty old men, my next contest will be much more difficult: vintage wet dreams.

Glad you are having a better day. Nice thing about the internet...no matter where you are, there's always someone out there to lend an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on.

I think Kelly's "Behind These Hazel Eyes" is a better song...
