Too Much Caffeine, Man
I just have to make a public confession: I have purchased fifteen 20oz bottles of Pepsi product since leaving Vermont on Saturday.
And I hate Pepsi.
These purchases have, obviously, been made under the influnece of too much Diet Pepsi, and because of the iTunes gimmick.
I've won eight songs so far (which are valued at $0.99, and I've spent $15). What I really want is an iPod mini.
I just saw Jars of Clay perform (talk about the 90s!) and during their God-friendly set, I prayed for more winning caps. As I sit here in my Bible-less hotel room, I can think of many reasons I'm going to hell -- and I'm OK with adding blasphemous iPod prayers to the list, as long as said prayers are answered.
My song is in the bottle, man.
Egads. You've reminded me of my mother's obsession with S&H Green Stamps and Plaid Stamps. Sometimes our diet would be dictated by products that came with double or triple stamps on a particular day. We had a garage full of unpacked crap that she would order from the catalogs just because she could.

I'm still trying to figure out what kind of convention you're at that features performances by Vanessa Williams, the Ying Yang Twins and Jars of Clay. Weird!
I would have guessed a "artists that were mildly entertaining in the 90's" until the whole Ying Yang thing cropped up. Don't they rap on Britney's last full album?
