An update from the beautiful Minneapolis Hilton (feel free to joke - Lord knows I have), and conference day one:

  • ITEM: On our first flight, to Chicago, we were on a very tiny plane, and I kept hitting my head on things. Across the aisle from me sat a nasty business man who took up two seats without reason. I hated him, but we he stood up mid-flight, I noticed a tuft of toilet paper sticking out of the back of his pants. So I laughed and decided not to hold a grudge, even if he's an asshole.

  • ITEM: There is no Bible in this hotel room. Instead, there is a tattered old copy of "Be My Guest" by Conrad Hilton.

  • ITEM: Vanessa Carlton performed. She was great. Bob Guyney, The Bachelor, also performed. He sucked.

  • ITEM: Sexy stars from MTV's The Real World and Road Rules are in town for this star-studded conference. Among my favorites: short Derek and smaller-than-you-would-think-but-still-hot-as-hell gay

    Now I'm beat -- to tired to even think about hitting The Gay 90s. Which is a true tragedy.

    I've spent years chucking those Gideon Bibles out of hotel windows. Have I finally made a difference? Hope so!

    If only I had known you were coming to Minneapolis, we cld have shown you the parts of the city worth seeing. Maybe next time.
