Engligh
Just got a very passive-aggressive "courtesy" call from a woman at the school where I am interviewing this Friday.
Apparently, I mispelt my degree on my resume.
I have a B.A. in "ENGLIGH."
Part of me wants to die right now. The other part wants to curl up into an invisible ball. And all of me kinda wanted to burst into tears when I got off the phone with this woman. And I don't cry, unless there's a little girl in danger on TV or I am breaking up with Duncan.
Readers of this blog will know my difficulties with grammar and spelling, so this should come as no surprise. But in my resume? I'm a fucking idiot.
Back to the conference...
Man, I feel like a heel. Here you are off in another state, and you find time to blog, but I haven't even posted in almost 5 days with no good excuse.
As for the misspelling...if they're so uptight that they'd screw you over for a typo, then I'd wager they'd be a bunch of c***s to work for. I'll email you a picture of my boss, so you know what an uptight boss looks like.

Engligh is a perfectly valid major(s)....in fact, it shows you are a student of multiple disciplines...
you couldn't exactly say "I have a BA in Englishes..." now could you - you have to say "Engligh..." the plural of English. Call the bitch back - I'll explain it to her....
