Against my will, I am elected to the Student Council by my class. Which means I am either popular or hated by my peers.
I play the Where In The World Is Carmen Sandeigo? computer game every chance I can at school, and then religiously watch the show every day at home. Do it, Rockapella!
I am a HUGE Kevin Costner and Bryan Adams fan, based solely on Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Needless to say, the love does not last.
I have sleepovers with boys from school nearly every weekend. One time, at my house, Riley brings a Playboy that he stole from his dad. He and Chad drool over it, but I can't remember anything from inside the magazine. All I can remember is being more intrigued with how cleverly he had it rolled inside a pantleg in his duffel bag. I would use the same trick two years later to steal a Hustler from my uncle.
I adore Melisa Joan Hart's Clarissa Explains It All. I don't think too much about the funny feeling her friend Sam gives me everytime he's on screen. But I like it.
Remember "Justified & Ancient" by KLF with Tammy Wynette? Young Patrick is shamelessly addicted to the song about "Mu Mu town," even though he knows nothing about KLF or Ms. Wynette.
Move #2: Knocked up again, my mother moves us back to Rutland in October. Sibling #2 does not arrive until the next year.
I nearly die of pneumonia late in the year. I miss a month of school sitting at home, watching TV, reading Gamepro magazine and comics. I get better.

I was the pissed-off kid that bought the full KLF album, only to find that "Justified and Ancient" was NOT the version with Tammy. In fact, the album version just plain sucked. However, I'd rock out to "3 AM Eternal" all the time.

Great post qt...although, I'm suddenly reminded that I was graduating high school in 1991 - getting ready to head off to College...my favorite group at the time was Jesus Jones....and Nirvana...(after I tried acid)...
My college roommate decided to de-nerd me and made me join the pot smoking, surfer fraternity. Then they started calling me "opie, opie the acid man"

Implementing a new imperfect but hopefully more user-friendly comment thingee...
It's messed up some of the earlier comments, so I just wanted to point out the comment love from Rick over at Blandella and Myke over at Mezz. And of course Corey and Yelli. Thanks!
