Bathroom Story #2
You know how most toothpaste tubes say, "If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, contact Poison Control"? I can suddenly understand why.
Here's two things you should know about me:
1.) I use Aquafresh Extreme Clean, and I use a lot of it. Probably at least double the "recommended amount." I like the taste, and I like the "exteme" senstation of it as it "showers my whole mouth with freshness."
2.) This morning, as I was just beginning to brush, I had a coughing fit and accidentally swallowed the contents of my mouth, including a big ol' glob of Aquafresh. So I'm coughing. Then I start choking. Then it starts burning. And then I think, "I'm going to die." So I gargle. No help. I start chugging water. No help, it still feels stuck in the back of my throat. It is extremely cleaning my insides, all the way to my stomach, and I do not like this.
Eventually, about two minutes away from calling Poison Control or 911, I stopped coughing and choking, and the toothpaste stopped bubbling and burning inside me. But I still feel uneasy about the toothpaste in my belly, which feels a bit sour too.
Moral of the story? Aquafresh is too extreme for me.
