Another Saturday Night, and I ain't got nobody... (Well, I guess technically I do have somebody, but, ya know...)

I am getting old. I look forward to Saturday nights in, alone, watching TV, writing, ordering take-out, hanging out in my underwear. Relaxing. What does that make me? Boring? A geek? Mature? All of the above? I think I'm showing my age when I can honestly say that I don't care much.

I guess I'm just surrounded by too many undergraduates that are of the go-out-or-die weekend mentality. Gotta be out, gotta be seen, gotta be drunk, gotta be crazy. And you gotta write about it in my AIM profile. You gotta post pictures online the next day...

Wait -- isn't that me on my Boston visits?

I love my lonely Saturday nights. But maybe there's a party of me that really misses my URI Freshman days. And maybe my UVM senior year. I can't believe that was two years ago... Nutso.

I want a hamburger.
